Nexus Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior M365 Security Architect to lead secure design, implementation, and enhancement of the global M365 security environment. You will serve as SME for Defender, Purview, and Cloud Apps, establishing scalable security architecture and governance for enterprise collaborations, data, and identities.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise-level experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure security architecture.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Defender Suite, including at least two components (Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps, Purview).
• Working knowledge of Defender for Identity and Entra ID (Azure AD) preferred.
• Proven ability to design and deploy scalable security solutions within Microsoft 365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end security controls across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Lead enterprise-wide adoption of Defender security solutions (Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps).
• Provide architectural guidance for deploying Purview features (data classification, labeling, encryption).
• Drive CASB and CSPM strategies using Microsoft-native solutions.
• Develop security policies, reference architectures, and deployment best practices for M365 operations.
• Act as SME for complex security challenges, incident response architecture, and tooling integration.
• Collaborate with global teams to align M365 security with operational and compliance needs.
