Job summary

Coforge is seeking a role focused on translating regulatory requirements into robust Microsoft Purview Information Protection strategies in the Metro Manila area. The candidate will design taxonomy, labeling, retention, and encryption models while drafting DLP policies for critical workloads.

The incumbent will lead workshops, maturity analyses, and the development of data discovery/classification strategies, including auto-labeling and SIT mapping.

Qualifications

• Experience translating technology decisions into business impact.
• Ability to convert ambiguous requirements into clear design artefacts.
• Familiarity with DLP and record-management policies.

Responsibilities

• Translate business, compliance, and regulatory needs into classification models and retention policies.
• Lead security assessment workshops and current-state maturity analyses for Information Protection & DLP.
• Design Microsoft Purview Information Protection taxonomy, labeling framework, and encryption models.
• Draft Microsoft Purview DLP policies for key workloads.
• Develop data discovery and classification strategy including auto-labeling rules and SIT mapping.
• Drive operating model creation with runbooks, RACI, SOPs, escalation flows, and analyst playbooks.
• Communicate effectively with executives and translate tech decisions to business impact.
• Structure work to remove ambiguity and produce clear artefacts.
• Coordinate phased rollout and prioritization for Purview implementations.

Job description

• Translate business, compliance, and regulatory requirements into classification models, sensitivity labels, retention labels, and DLP/record‑management policies.


• Conduct security assessment workshops, gap assessments, and current-state maturity analysis for Information Protection & DLP


• Strong executive communication with ability to translate technology decisions into business impact and vice versa


• Lead end‑to‑end design of Microsoft Purview Information Protection including taxonomy design, labeling framework, retention schedules, and encryption models.


• Structured thinking with ability to take ambiguous requirements and convert to clear design artefacts.


• Draft Microsoft Purview DLPpolicies for key workloads.


• Develop data discovery & classification strategy, including auto-labeling rules, SIT mapping, prioritization, and phased rollout


• Drive operating model creation including Operating Runbooks, RACI matrices, SOPs, escalation flows, and analyst playbooks


• Must have: Azure Information Protection / Purview Compliance certifications
