Job summary

Zepz in Cebu City, Philippines seeks a Data Ops Analyst to support critical data needs and build scalable data models essential for cross-border remittance workflows.

You will independently lead technical projects, partner with data analysts and stakeholders to translate objectives into actionable plans, and develop automated analytics with Python and SQL. Expertise with data warehouses (Databricks) and reconciliation tools (AutoRek/ReconArt) is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar role.
• Proven experience in financial services or FinTech, especially cross-border payments.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies, specifically Databricks.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from conception to deployment independently.
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to translate objectives into technical plans.
• Perform deep-dive analytics and build automated scripts using Python/SQL; create business-facing reports.
• Oversee data reconciliation to ensure financial integrity (AutoRek/ReconArt valued).
• Lead the adoption of data transformation tools to empower data-driven decisions.
