Job summary

Nezda Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Manila’s BGC area to design and build scalable data pipelines and data models for the in-house data warehouse.

You will partner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality data assets for BI and analytics. The role requires 3–6 years in data engineering, strong Java/Python skills, and hands-on experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL and AWS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from a top-tier university
• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, preferably in the financial industry
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM)
• Solid understanding of ETL, data warehousing, BI (e.g., Qlik), and advanced data analytics concepts
• Deep knowledge of cloud-enabled technologies such as AWS RDS, AWS Fargate, etc.
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL databases
• Strong programming skills with Java and/or Python
• Experience with ETL tools such as AWS Glue
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• AWS Data Engineer Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect Associate (Preferred)
• SnowPro Core Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to generate BI and advanced analytics datasets
• Design data pipelines to curate data into the in-house data warehouse
• Develop data marts for dataset consumption by business and IT
• Design data model changes aligned with warehouse standards
• Plan migration to the in-house data warehouse
• Perform regular housekeeping of raw data and warehouse content
• Build and maintain data pipelines and platforms
• Develop data solutions to support evolving business needs
• Enhance data quality and reliability
• Promote data engineering standards and best practices
