Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a capable Accountant for a full-time role in Makati. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accountancy and CPA licensure, with at least five years of related experience.

You will audit and prepare financial statements, ensure BIR/SEC compliance, manage tax returns, and supervise staff while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office is required; English and Filipino are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and CPA licensure.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation.
• Willing to work in Makati; able to start ASAP; female, 30-40 years old.

Responsibilities

• Audit, maintain and review financial reports and statements of assigned client company.
• Audit, maintain and review financial reports and statements of assigned client company.
• Preparation of final financial statements for submission to BIR and SEC.
• Preparation of BIR requirements such as VAT returns, withholding tax returns, corporate income tax returns and other BIR forms and requirements.
• Preparation of reports and payments to various government agencies such as SSS, PHIC and Pagibig.
• Supervise and assist accounting staff.
• Corporate tax compliance and management.
• Respond and recommends to tax and accounting queries and concerns of client companies.
• Recommend strategic and feasible accounting methods to client companies.
