OVERVIEW

The Partnerships and Advocacy Lead leads strategic collaboration initiatives to strengthen the organization’s relationships with industry groups, businesses, cause-oriented organizations, local government units (LGUs), and academic institutions. This role ensures all external partnerships directly support organizational priorities while maintaining high standards of integrity, compliance, and discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Partnerships & Advocacy
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies aligned with overarching organizational goals.

  • Monitor emerging industry trends, public policy issues, and collaboration opportunities.

  • Coordinate across internal departments to ensure external initiatives align with operational capabilities and objectives.

External Representation & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the primary organizational representative in external meetings, forums, consultations, and advocacy platforms.

  • Exercise high discretion and professionalism when managing sensitive stakeholder relationships and confidential data.

  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule to accommodate external meetings and engage key partners.

  • Travel occasionally to attend off-site forums, conferences, and partnership meetings.

Leadership, Management & Governance
  • Lead, mentor, and guide team members to deliver impactful engagement and advocacy programs.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports, policy insights, and strategic recommendations for the Head of External Relations.

  • Manage department budget forecasting and ensure responsible allocation of financial resources.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Administration/Relations, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in partnership management, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, or advocacy.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing teams and directing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

  • Work Conditions & Adaptability:

    • Willingness to travel occasionally for regional/national external engagements.

    • Flexibility to work outside core hours to accommodate stakeholder availability.
