ZALORA is seeking a Senior Content Writer to own product content production and quality for Indonesia and other platforms. You will create and review product descriptions, translate with AI-assisted tools, and coordinate with the ZALORA Indonesia team to meet market-specific requirements.

The role requires independent work, initiative, and the ability to handle multiple priorities, ensuring high-quality catalog information and timely delivery.

• Coordinate with the ZALORA Indonesia team to clarify product details and content requirements.
• Perform quality checks on product images, descriptions, categories, size charts, and other catalog information.
• Identify and elevate missing, inconsistent, or unclear product information.

Job description

SUMMARY:

The Senior Content Writer will take ownership of product content production and quality operations for ZALORA Indonesia and other platforms supported by ZALORA e-Production Services.

The role will create and review product descriptions, work with Indonesian source information using AI-assisted translation tools, and coordinate with the ZALORA Indonesia team to clarify market-specific requirements. As a senior team member, the writer is expected to work independently, take initiative, and manage assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Content Creation

• Create clear, accurate, concise, and consistent product descriptions.
• Research, organize, and verify product facts before writing.
• Proofread and review own work for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and completeness.
• Meet the productivity and quality targets set by the Content Supervisor.

Translation and Market Adaptation

• Use AI-assisted translation tools to convert English source information into Indonesian content when required.
• Review and edit AI-generated translations for accuracy, clarity, tone, and context.
• Adapt content according to Indonesia-specific brand, market, and platform requirements.
• Coordinate with the ZALORA Indonesia team to clarify product details and content requirements.

Content Quality and Catalog Support

• Perform quality checks on product images, descriptions, categories, size charts, and other catalog information.
• Identify and elevate missing, inconsistent, or unclear product information.
• Upload size charts and perform basic troubleshooting when required.
• Handle complex or high-priority content tasks with minimal supervision.

Team Support and Coordination

• Support assignment delegation and monitor task progress when the Content Supervisor is unavailable.
• Provide guidance to team members on content, quality, translation, and workflow-related concerns.
• Support day-to-day team leadership and operational decision-making when required.
• Assist the team in achieving productivity, quality, and delivery targets.

Process Improvement and Stakeholder Management

• Identify recurring errors, workflow gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend improvements to content guidelines, processes, and workflows.
• Communicate directly with the ZALORA Indonesia team and other stakeholders.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects from planning through completion.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:Communication and Language Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and tone.
• Ability to review, edit, and validate AI-assisted translations.
• Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage but not required.

Professional and Technical Skills

• Experience in content writing, product copywriting, e-commerce content, catalog management, translation, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify content, translation, formatting, and catalog-related errors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with SEO tools, e-commerce platforms, and content management systems is preferred.
• Experience using AI-assisted writing or translation tools is preferred.

Senior-Level Capabilities

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying problems, proposing solutions, and improving processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks within established deadlines.
• Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Confidence in coordinating with international stakeholders and requesting clarification when necessary.
• Ability to support team members, coordinate assignments, and take charge of daily operations when required.

Work Requirements

• Must have a reliable internet connection.
• Willingness to work at MCX E-Commerce Center in Muntinlupa City in a hybrid work setup or depending on business requirements.
• Available to start immediately or within the required notice period.
