Job summary

EEI Power in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Safety Manager to lead safety programs and regulatory compliance on construction sites. You will develop policies, conduct risk assessments and drive safety initiatives across teams to foster a proactive safety culture.

The role requires 10+ years in safety leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with safety software and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience as Safety Manager or similar in construction.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor safety policies, procedures and training programs to create a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors and workers to promote safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and standards.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on safety performance metrics.
• Provide safety-related training and coaching to employees at all levels.
