Job summary

LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. is seeking a Project in Charge to lead our construction team in Metro Manila. This full-time role oversees projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, and high-quality standards.

You will supervise on-site teams, coordinate with clients and vendors, monitor safety protocols, and report progress to management. Relevant certifications and experience in steel construction are preferred for this pivotal position.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in construction projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with project management software (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Manage on-site teams, including labourers, craftspeople, and subcontractors.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and manage resource allocation.
• Conduct daily inspections of work progress and quality assurance checks.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including timesheets and progress reports.
• Communicate with clients, architects, and stakeholders regarding project status.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Address and resolve on-site issues and challenges promptly.
• Prepare and submit weekly or monthly progress reports to management.
