Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Senior Compliance & Legal Officer to lead drafting, review, and maintenance of legal, compliance, and regulatory documentation supporting governance and business needs.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams, external counsel, regulators, and other parties; ensuring timely regulatory filings, fund-related documentation accuracy, and robust audit trails to strengthen controls and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• College graduate, preferably with a degree in Law, Legal Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Legal and Compliance, with exposure to fund documentation.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating fund-related legal documents, including LPAs and Side Letters.
• Experience handling regulatory reporting and compliance-related submissions.
• Strong understanding of legal documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain legal, compliance, and regulatory documentation to support business and governance requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate regulatory filings, reports, disclosures, and other compliance-related submissions.
• Manage and maintain fund-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Review, interpret, and support the implementation of contractual and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, regulators, and other parties on legal and compliance matters.
• Monitor compliance obligations, deadlines, and reporting requirements to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails for regulatory and compliance purposes.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance governance, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support on legal, regulatory, and compliance-related matters.
