Job summary

The Private Advertiser is seeking a Commodity Specialist to drive RFQ activities and supplier selection for electromechanical and wire-harnessing materials. You will collaborate with Engineering, Program, Quality, and Purchasing to understand material needs and ensure on-time delivery while meeting KPIs.

The role requires a diploma/degree with at least 3 years in sourcing or procurement, familiarity with electronics/distributor networks, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain, engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in sourcing, procurement or commodity management, preferably electronics/Wire harnessing.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Engage in RFQ process to support securing new business in wire-harnessing.
• Review requirements and coordinate with suppliers for quotations, lead times and terms.
• Support timely RFQ submissions with sourcing information and risk assessment.
• Lead and develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodities aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate suppliers based on capabilities, quality, pricing, delivery and terms.
