GCash, the leading FinTech innovator in the Philippines, seeks an senior IT leader to own cloud strategy and capacity governance. You will shape fleet planning, model capacity needs, and coordinate across cloud platforms with engineers and architects to align with business demand.
The role emphasizes executive stakeholder communication, cost optimization and scalable platform management, leveraging AWS, Azure and Alibaba Cloud in a hybrid/on‑prem environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Cloud Solutions Architect certification.
- 12+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud).
- Hybrid or on-premise exposure with app development is a strong plus.
- Strong background in core infrastructure incl. networks, databases, servers, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Cloud Fleet Planning, Forecasting and Governance: establish capacity management standards, optimizations and policies.
- Forecast cloud demand and build capacity fleet models to support business demand.
- Platform Management and Coordination across cloud platforms, architects, and engineers.
- Communicate insights to leadership by turning data into actionable decisions.
