Job summary

GCash in the Philippines seeks a senior cloud governance leader to design and sustain enterprise cloud governance, FinOps, and risk management across the organization. You will shape policy, drive cost optimization, and align cloud initiatives with strategic goals.

Collaborate with finance, engineering, and executive leadership to ensure governance rigor and regulatory compliance in a dynamic FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Top-tier Cloud certification required.
• 12+ years of experience including BFSI exposure.
• Proven expertise in Cloud strategy, FinOps, IT controls, and regulatory compliance within BFSI.

Responsibilities

• Design and sustain a robust cloud governance framework across the organization.
• Drive accountability and operational excellence for cloud functions and teams.
• Lead governance discussions at steering committees and executive forums.
• Deliver insights on strategy, performance, and risk to senior leadership.
• Align cloud initiatives with enterprise strategy and risk appetite; manage P&L.
• Lead cloud contract negotiations, procurement and vendor agreements.
• Drive cloud financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Establish governance frameworks for on-prem and cloud usage with governance rigor.
• Lead spend optimization and real-time resource allocation insights.
