Job summary

GCash, a leading fintech platform in the Philippines, seeks a senior leader to drive enterprise cloud governance and FinOps excellence. You will shape policy, monitor performance, and align cloud initiatives with risk appetite, optimizing ROI across cloud and on‑premise environments.

With 12+ years in BFSI, you will influence executive stakeholders and manage P&L, contracts and strategic partnerships while guiding transformation programs in a highly agile setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 12+ years of BFSI experience with cloud responsibilities.
• Proven Cloud strategy, FinOps, IT controls, regulatory compliance expertise.
• Strong leadership with cross-functional executive stakeholder management.
• Experience managing P&L, contracts, and partnerships in cloud environments.
• Change Management and IT Transformation programs in agile settings.
• Exposure to Microservices and container tech: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and sustain a robust cloud governance framework with clear roles and decision authority.
• Drive accountability and operational excellence across cloud functions and teams.
• Lead governance discussions at steering committees and executive forums.
• Deliver insights on strategy, performance, and compliance to senior leadership.
• Align cloud initiatives with enterprise strategy and risk appetite.
• Oversee cloud P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
