GCash seeks a senior Cloud Architect to lead fleet planning, forecasting, and governance, ensuring capacity aligns with business demand. You will coordinate across cloud platforms and work with engineers and architects to drive cost-efficient, scalable solutions.

The role requires 12+ years in cloud infrastructure, a Cloud Solutions Architect certification, and hybrid/on-premise exposure. You will influence strategic decisions and deliver data-driven insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Cloud Solutions Architect certification.
• 12+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud).
• Hybrid or on-premise exposure with application development experience is a plus.
• Strong background in network, databases, servers and automation for stability and cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Fleet Planning, Forecasting and Governance – establishing and enforcing capacity management best standards, optimizations (e.g., rightsizing, scaling) and policies. Forecasting cloud demand and build capacity fleet models that supports business demand.
• Platform Management and Coordination – coordinating across cloud platforms, technical architects, and engineers.
• Commanding technical decisions with consideration to fleet, compliance and cost strategy.
• Executive Stakeholdership – turning data into clear insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum required certification/s – Cloud Solutions Architect.
• At least 12 years of relevant and proven experience for handling / managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud) either on a management or Sr. DevOps capability.
• Hybrid or On-premise exposure with Application development exposure is a strong plus.
• Strong background in core infrastructure such as network, database, servers and other automation services focusing on stability, operations and economics.
