Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.

Architect multi‑cloud setups (AWS, GCP, Azure) and lead IaC initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi. You will own CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and implement security, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Experience designing scalable, secure infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem.
Proficient in AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud architectures.
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
Experience with CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong monitoring and security solution experience.
Ability to mentor engineers and participate in KT sessions and training.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure across cloud/on‑prem.
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Lead IaC initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Own containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
Monitor performance, capacity, and reliability; resolve bottlenecks.
Establish security, access control, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
Architect disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Drive cloud infrastructure cost optimization across resources.
Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and security teams.
