Job summary

TP ICAP Group in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Cloud and Platform Engineer to shape our cloud infrastructure and lead AWS platform engineering initiatives. You will design scalable solutions and mentor junior engineers to drive modernization.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC with CDK and Terraform, and DevSecOps practices, in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, cost-efficient cloud services.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS expertise, including cloud automation, security and cost optimisation.
• Proficiency in programming with a track record of automated solutions.
• Strong Python, GO and PowerShell skills.
• DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (EKS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on CDK and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Bedrock, TensorFlow, PyTorch for AI solutions.
• Monitoring with Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus or ELK Stack.
• Security/compliance awareness in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
• Clear communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer or AI Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering in AWS: design, implement, and optimize platform solutions.
• Automation & IaC: develop infra automation with CDK and Terraform.
• DevSecOps Enablement: build scalable DevSecOps with Gitlab, Nexus; Python/Go/PowerShell.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate generative AI into systems.
• Lead cloud and platform projects; ensure secure, compliant delivery.
• Strategic governance: advise on architecture and tool usage.
• Escalation & troubleshooting: guide on complex issues.
• Mentor teammates and share best practices.
