Job summary

LevelBlue seeks a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and automate scalable AWS environments. You will build immutable infrastructure, promote best practices, and collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and operations.

The role requires 4+ years in cloud-native architectures, Terraform, Packer, Puppet, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Linux administration. Strong English communication and willingness to work night/weekend on-call are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud-native architectures and DevOps.
• Experience operating AWS-native services at scale (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, ELB/ALB).
• Proficient with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices; aware of modules, state, promotion, reviews.
• Building machine images with Packer; automating deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on Puppet in Linux environments; idempotent resource management and catalogs.
• Scripting in Bash and/or Python for operations beyond configuration management.
• Git repositories and CI/CD workflows (GitHub, GitHub Actions).
• Docker-based infrastructure with service discovery and Kubernetes/ECS orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote best practices in cloud-native architecture and deployment through automation and IaC.
• Evolve development guidelines and principles for faster delivery of services.
• Design and maintain immutable infrastructure workflows across AWS using Terraform, Packer, Puppet.
• Improve and support DevOps tools for build, deploy, CI, tests, and self-service releases.
• Manage and improve automated code deployment practices across environments.
• Administer and maintain version control and code repositories.
• Define, manage, and respond to data-driven metrics for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development, operations, QA to document requirements and production readiness.
