Manila Recruitment Limited is seeking mid-level or senior Cloud Engineers (AWS) to join a REMOTE-ISH project based in NCR, Philippines. The role focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining scalable AWS environments, with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and cost efficiency.

Successful candidates will have 3+ years (mid) or 5+ years (senior) of cloud engineering experience, proficient Linux administration, and IaC tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience for Mid-level or 5+ years for Senior level in cloud engineering
• Experience developing and administering AWS environments
• Linux server administration and Puppet configuration management
• Infrastructure as Code experience (CloudFormation, Terraform, Serverless)
• Scripting with Bash/Linux shell; CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Jenkins
• Familiarity with AWS services (RDS, web servers) and Agile work style
• Strong communication and ability to work with stakeholders
• Independent, reliable, and able to meet project timelines

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize AWS cloud environments
• Develop and deploy new cloud-based systems
• Maintain Puppet-controlled infrastructure
• Improve automation and infrastructure tooling
• Lead design of cloud solutions with emphasis on reliability and cost
• Mentor mid-level engineers and support production systems
• Contribute to documentation and security best practices
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes
