Job summary

Commvault is seeking a Senior Engineer - C++ for Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune locations. In this role you will build scalable, high-performance enterprise software for a distributed storage platform.

You will design, develop, and maintain core components; participate in architectural reviews; mentor junior engineers; debug production issues; and drive secure, reliable solutions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
4+ years of software development experience.
Strong experience in C++ object oriented programming.
Good understanding of Linux and Windows internals.
Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting with standard tools.
Experience with micro-services, client-server and distributed systems.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain core components in a distributed storage platform.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Write clean, well-tested code and debug production issues.
Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
Drive innovation while ensuring product quality and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
