Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Storage Systems Engineer to design and manage large-scale storage infrastructures, ensuring high availability, performance, and data protection across distributed environments.

You will lead architectural decisions, implement durability models, and optimize storage systems using Ceph, MinIO, or S3-compatible solutions, with a focus on C/C++, Go, or Rust. Strong English skills are required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in systems engineering, storage administration, or systems programming.
• Experience designing and managing distributed storage systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Go, or Rust for systems-level development.
• Knowledge of durability, consistency models, and replication strategies.
• Experience building/operating block, file, or object storage at scale.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain distributed storage solutions to handle large data volumes with high reliability.
• Implement durability and consistency models to protect data across clusters.
• Develop low-level systems code to enhance storage performance and efficiency.
• Automate storage provisioning and lifecycle management for operations.
• Monitor health and performance, addressing bottlenecks in replication and retrieval.
