Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within banking or broader Financial Services.
• Strong experience delivering complex enterprise software or technology programmes.
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and translating them into practical solution designs.
• Strong workshop facilitation and senior stakeholder management capability.
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, ideally within Agile environments.
• Good understanding of enterprise systems, application architecture and integration concepts.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to business stakeholders.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or DB2.

Senior Business Analyst - Financial Services Technology (SAAS)

Join a leading FS AI product vendor delivering complex enterprise software solutions across banking and financial services.

This is a senior Business Analyst role for someone with strong Financial Services experience and a track record of working across complex technology programmes, stakeholder groups and enterprise software implementations.

You’ll work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, shape solutions and support delivery across the full software lifecycle. The role requires someone who can operate comfortably between business processes, product capability and technical teams.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading requirements gathering and design workshops with senior Financial Services stakeholders.
• Translating complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and solution designs.
• Understanding existing business processes and identifying how technology can improve or automate them.
• Owning functional documentation and managing review and sign-off processes.
• Working closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams throughout the SDLC.
• Supporting solution design and helping resolve functional and technical issues during delivery.
• Building strong relationships across senior business, technology and subject matter expert groups.
• Delivering product demonstrations, presentations and user training.
• Supporting testing, implementation and knowledge transfer activities.
• Keeping abreast of relevant regulatory, product and technology changes.

What we’re looking for Strong Financial Services experience is essential.

You’ll ideally bring:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within banking or broader Financial Services.
• Strong experience delivering complex enterprise software or technology programmes.
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and translating them into practical solution designs.
• Strong workshop facilitation and senior stakeholder management capability.
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, ideally within Agile environments.

• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or DB2.
• Experience working with enterprise software products in regulated environments.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Experience across AML, KYC, sanctions, PEP screening, payment filtering, financial crime or RegTech would be highly advantageous, but broader Financial Services technology experience is the priority.
