Job summary

SM Supermalls in the Philippines seeks a Resident Engineer to supervise mall equipment operations and ensure utilities support for daily operations. You will plan and implement repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS to guarantee safe, efficient operations and government compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, a professional license, and supervisory experience in electro-mechanical facilities, especially for high-rise buildings.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional License in the related field is required.
• Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and/or construction in supervisory capacity is preferred.
• Experience with high-rise building operational equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEPFS operations and maintenance to ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
• Manage contractors and projects by handling bidding, inspections, and progress monitoring to meet standards and timelines.
• Ensure optimal utility performance through monitoring and corrective measures on water and power consumption.
• Support tenant coordination by reviewing MEPFS plans, conducting inspections, and addressing technical service concerns.
• Promote safety and professional growth by enforcing safety standards and participating in training initiatives.
