Job summary

MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services in the Philippines seeks a Senior Bookkeeper with strong Sage and QuickBooks Payroll experience to support multiple client accounts. You will handle data entry, AP/AR, invoicing, and payroll processing across diverse books.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of bookkeeping, proficiency in QuickBooks (QBO + Desktop), Sage, Excel and Google Sheets, and excellent English communication. Attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Intermediate QuickBooks (QBO + Desktop).
• Experience with QB Payroll.
• Experience with Sage is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable; good English writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and clerical tasks including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, cash posting, and basic bookkeeping.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets update.
• Process payroll for clients (mostly 1–3 employees).
• Prepare monthly sales tax reports.
• Assist with general admin support and accounting projects.

About the job Senior Bookkeeper (Sage & QB Payroll)

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supports many facets of accounting and related tasks including clerical tasks such as data entry, accounts payables, accounts receivables, invoicing, cash posting and basic bookkeeping.

Reconciles bank statements and credit card statements

Prepares monthly financial statements, including income statements and updating balance sheets

Processes payroll most clients have 1-3 employees

Prepares monthly sales tax reports

May assist with general admin support

Handles accounting related projects

Fluency in English writing and speaking are required.

Key Qualifications:

6-10 years of Bookkeeping experience

Intermediate QuickBooks (QBO + Desktop)

Experience with QB Payroll required

Experience with Sage is a plus as the largest client has 5 sets of books in Sage

Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets

Strong attention to detail

Reliable

Shift / Hours:

Monday Friday in one single shift, 2:00 AM CST 11:00 AM CST and 1:00 AM CST 10:00 AM CST outside of DST. Note this is +13 or +14 Philippine time, which will be 3:0 PM PHT 12:00 AM in PHT.
