Job summary

Builder Bookkeep is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our fully remote, Philippines-based team serving construction clients in the U.S. You will ensure accurate, timely financial records and collaborate with U.S.-based staff on established processes while contributing your own initiative and expertise.

Responsibilities include daily bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online entries, payroll with job costing, and 1099 preparation.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of U.S. accounting experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Experience handling multiple clients simultaneously.
Strong understanding of job costing and construction bookkeeping practices.
High attention to detail and deadlines.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Comfortable working night shift (Philippines time).
Reliable home internet connection and dedicated workspace.

Responsibilities

Perform daily bookkeeping tasks for multiple construction clients, including AP/AR and bank reconciliations.
Enter and review transactions in QuickBooks Online to ensure U.S. standards compliance.
Process weekly payroll entries with proper job costing.
Assist with 1099 preparation, financial statements, and reporting.
Maintain organized records in internal systems and client QuickBooks files.
Communicate clearly with team about missing information, discrepancies, or updates.
Follow SOPs and contribute to process improvements.
