Builder Bookkeep is a fully remote, Philippines-based junior accountant role supporting U.S. construction clients. You will manage daily bookkeeping, payroll, and 1099 work while aligning with U.S. GAAP and client SOPs.

The candidate should have 3+ years of U.S. accounting experience, be proficient in QuickBooks Online, and comfortable handling multiple clients with strong communication skills in English. Night shifts align with U.S. business hours.

Responsibilities

• Enter and review transactions in QuickBooks Online to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
• Process weekly payroll entries with proper job costing.
• Assist with 1099 preparation, financial statements, and reporting.
• Maintain organized records in internal systems and client QuickBooks files.
• Communicate with team regarding missing information, discrepancies, or client updates.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to process improvements.

You will collaborate with U.S.-based team members and follow established processes, but you'll also bring your own initiative, problem-solving skills, and professional expertise to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Communicate effectively with team members regarding missing information, discrepancies, or client updates.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to process improvements when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of U.S. accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Have experience in handling multiple clients at a time
• Strong understanding of job costing and construction bookkeeping practices preferred.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working night shift (Philippines time) to align with U.S. business hours.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to delivering excellent client service.
• Reliable home internet connection and dedicated workspace.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive Monthly Salary at USD $1,400 to $1,700 (based on experience).
