Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations in the Philippines. You will maintain accurate records, process transactions, reconcile accounts, and assist with routine bookkeeping tasks, leveraging cloud-based accounting tools.

The role requires strong organization, proactivity, and comfort with a hybrid night-shift setup. You will work with the finance team to ensure timely, accurate reporting and streamlined billing workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bookkeeping, accounting, or similar finance role.
• Exposure to Stripe or Bill.com is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, bills, and payments in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and payment records.
• Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks.
• Monitor and reconcile customer payments processed through Stripe.
• Manage bills and payment workflows using Bill.com.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and basic financial reporting.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
• Help resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
• Support the finance team with other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.
