Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Accounting & Financial Analysis Specialist to support the US accounting team. You will handle general ledger tasks, prepare P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and contribute to FP&A with accurate variance analysis.

Based in Mall of Asia, Pasay City with a hybrid setup and night shift, the role requires 3+ years of hands-on accounting, advanced Excel, and QuickBooks proficiency. You’ll work in a collaborative, inclusive environment that rewards performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting including full-cycle journal entries and financial statement preparation.
• Experience in inventory costing (weighted average, FIFO, or standard costing) in a product-based business.
• FP&A exposure: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Night shift experience supporting US-based operations; required.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• Hands-on QuickBooks (preferably Enterprise) incl. COA management.
• Ability to use AI tools to enhance work and validate outputs.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Post daily, weekly, and month-end journal entries across all accounts including commissions, COGS, and accruals.
• Prepare and reconcile P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements with the US accounting team.
• Maintain and analyze inventory cost records, monitor product-level margins, and flag costing anomalies across all warehouse locations.
• Build and maintain projection models, support budgeting cycles, and provide variance analysis against actuals for management review.
• Analyze the financial impact of promotions—revenue lift, incremental commission cost, and net margin contribution—and present findings in management discussions.
• Reconcile sales and order data between Exigo and QuickBooks, identify variances, and document root cause with corrective journal entries.
