Job summary

DBA Advisory is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper (AU Account) to oversee Australian accounting operations. Proficiency in Xero and related tools is essential to maintain accurate records in accordance with Australian regulations.

You will supervise internal/external bookkeeping and reporting teams, review BAS, manage payroll, and produce management reports. Flexible posting to Clark or Subic Bay Freeport Zone is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Accountancy or equivalent.
• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience using Xero.
• Experience with Karbon, XPM, Teams and Xero Tax is highly regarded.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a team and under pressure.
• Willing to be assigned to Clark or Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal and external team members involved in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Review BAS before submission and ensure accuracy via reconciliations.

• Generate regular reports for management.
• Perform monthly bookkeeping and reporting tasks from start to finish.

We need a Senior Bookkeeper (AU Account) to join our team and oversee our client’s Australian accounting operations. This role requires a deep understanding of Xero and the ability to maintain accurate financial records. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in Australian accounting!

As a Senior Bookkeeper (AU Account), your duties and responsibilities include:

• Oversee both internal and external team members involved in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Review Business Activity Statements (BAS) before submission and ensuring accuracy through bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Handle payroll processing and ensuring BAS compliance.
• Generate regular reports for management to inform business decisions.
• Perform comprehensive monthly bookkeeping and reporting tasks from start to finish.
• Set up new client accounts in Xero and converting existing data files into the Xero format.
• Other ad hoc tasks as required by the client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Has at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience using Xero.
• Proven experience with Karbon, XPM, Teams & Xero Tax will be highly regarded.
