Job summary

Switch Connect PTY LTD Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to lead our bookkeeping function. The role is onsite in Santa Rosa, Laguna, full-time with immediate start; you will manage AP, AR, and payroll and maintain Xero records.

You will train 1–2 offshore finance staff as the team grows, handle reconciliations, and support month-end processes. We offer competitive salary (₱40,000–₱50,000), HMO, insurance, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Xero experience is essential.
• Solid experience in AP, AR, and payroll.
• Bank, credit card, and cash reconciliations; strong Excel/MS Office skills.
• Certificate/Diploma in Finance or Bookkeeping, or pursuing CPA.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage AP transactions including invoices, payments and reconciliations.
• Process and manage AR transactions including invoicing, receipts, and allocations.
• Manage payroll processing and related payroll administration.
• Perform daily bank, credit card, and cash reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records in Xero.
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting.
• Support preparation of financial information and management reports.

WE'RE HIRING | SENIOR BOOKKEEPER

Santa Rosa, Laguna | Onsite | Full-Time
Salary Range: ₱40,000 – ₱50,000/month (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate will initially take the lead in managing our bookkeeping function, with the opportunity to eventually train and support 1–2 additional offshore finance staff members as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Xero experience – essential.
• Solid experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll.
• Experience with bank, credit card, and cash reconciliations. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Certificate/Diploma in Finance, Bookkeeping, or an equivalent qualification, or someone currently studying toward their CPA.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting and training others.
• Willingness to learn our business operations and develop a strong understanding of our specific AR and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, including supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Process and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions, including invoicing, receipts, allocations, and follow-up of outstanding accounts.
• Manage payroll processing and related payroll administration.
• Complete daily bank, credit card, and cash reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero.
• Assist with month-end processes, reporting, and financial reconciliations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate AP and AR records and reporting.
• Handle invoice processing, data entry, and general bookkeeping duties.
• Support the preparation of financial information and management reports.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Develop a strong understanding of our business operations, AR processes, and reporting requirements.
• Help establish and maintain effective finance processes and controls as the function grows.
