Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking an experienced BIM/CAD professional to lead the management of BIM models for MEP services using Revit MEP and CAD. You will set project drawing standards, oversee work sets, and coordinate with the CAD/BIM team to ensure timely delivery across large-scale projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering/science, 5+ years in BIM/CAD, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent.
• Leadership training completed or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in BIM/CAD delivery.
• Strong technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
• High skills applying BIM standards, protocols and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manages BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical and Sanitary (Hydraulic) services using Revit MEP and CAD, aligning drawing strategy with project engineer.
• Assists CAD/BIM Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator in estimation and costing of CAD/BIM projects based on client inputs.
• Assists in agreeing project schedule and delivery program.
• Sets up BIM models to project standards and liaises with Model Managers, Lead BIM Coordinator and team members.
• Creates work sets, work-sharing methodologies in Revit models.
• Resources planning for projects.
• Flags resource concerns in advance to CAD/BIM Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator.
• Prepares plant room layouts, sections, details and coordinated services drawings.
• Agrees priorities and deadlines for drawing/model production with CAD/BIM Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator.
• Provides input to the coordination of engineering services on projects.
• Develops general arrangement drawings from engineers, sketches and other design team member drawings and details.
• Discusses and agrees setting out and building services details with team, ensuring standards and guides are used per QA.
• Completes design sketches for tender information for small/routine work.
• Follows and produces work per specified CAD standards and archiving procedures.
• Provides advice and coaching to CAD/BIM staff on BIM/Revit.
• Adopts new technologies and trains team; implements process improvements.
• Comply with SHEQ obligations.
• Lead and advise on mitigation of project delivery risk.
• Perform duties as requested.
