BIM Technician (ICT/ELV): Revit & 3D Coordination

Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking an engaged BIM Technician to support the delivery of complex projects. You will contribute to BIM coordination, drafting and model creation using Revit, Navisworks and Revisto, and ensure compliance with QA and CDM guidelines.

You will work with engineers and designers to transform sketches into coordinated drawings, develop general arrangements, and maintain timely submissions. A 1–4 year background in communications/ICT, security or AV is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Vocational Engineering course or equivalent.
• Working towards engineering registration within jurisdiction.
• 1–4 years’ experience in Communications/ICT, Security or AV disciplines.
• High level drafting & detailing; developing 3D Revit skills.
• Ability to undertake key technical tasks independently.
• Strong design software skills and collaboration with the engineering team.
• Good written and oral communication with peers, team leaders and clients.

Responsibilities

• Comply with SHEQ obligations and QA guidelines.
• Understand BIM requirements and implement BIM protocols.
• Coordinate 3D BIM software, review and checking.
• Develop general arrangement drawings from engineers and team drawings.
• Prepare room layouts, sections, details and coordinated services drawings.
• Produce accurate BIM drawings and models by agreed deadlines.
• Follow QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines.
• Support delivery; communicate with project leads/design team.
• Identify and mitigate project delivery risks.
