Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior BIM Design Modeler - Mechanical to lead BIM authoring for MEP and ensure best practice BIM delivery across projects. The role demands extensive Revit expertise, strong coordination across disciplines, and a track record of driving BIM standards and QA.

The candidate should have 8–10+ years of experience, excellent communication, and leadership skills, with familiarity in Australian BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or science.
• 8–10+ years in BIM design modeling.
• Expert Revit for MEP disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulics).
• Familiar with Australian and International BIM standards (ISO19650 BIM MEP Aus).
• Strong QA and model review experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with leads to ensure BIM delivery to project requirements.
• Develop and maintain BIM documentation guidelines and standards.
• Implement and enforce BIM workflows and processes.
• Drive technical delivery innovation across projects.
• Coordinate BIM across disciplines in the region.
• Stay updated with BIM technology and software interactions.
• Provide quality control for models and drawings.
• Review clash reports and manage rectification.
• Coordinate project standards with clients and teams.
• Expand local BIM services.
• Assist with BIM Project Technology Systems administration.
