Job summary

M/ CATERING AND FINE FOODS is seeking an experienced Finance Reconciliation Lead in Metro Manila to oversee bank reconciliation, general ledger accuracy, and related accounting processes. You will supervise reconciliation staff, ensure compliant controls, and support financial reporting and audits from the Manila office.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, vigilance against irregularities, and guidance to team members as part of monthly close and regulatory compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in bank reconciliation and general ledger management.
• Knowledge of internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Ability to detect irregularities and explain variances.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review all daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliation activities
• Ensure all bank transactions are matched and validated against the company records
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, unposted transactions, and bank errors promptly
• Monitor cash balances and ensure accurate recording of bank-related entries
• Oversee reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including cash and cash equivalents, accounts receivable and payable, advances, deposits, and accruals
• Ensure all GL accounts are updated and validated in accordance with accounting policies
• Develop, document, and implement reconciliation procedures and control checklists
• Prepare and submit reconciliation summaries, exception reports, and aging of reconciling items to the Finance Head
• Supervise and mentor reconciliation staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Ensure regular data backups and compliance with company data retention policies
