Metrobank is seeking an Accounting Associate in Cebu City to support daily transaction processing, posting, and reconciliation across multiple head office units. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records.

The candidate will handle data entry, validation, and reporting, working with various banking systems and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, verify, balance and post daily transactions across HO units.
• Check and reconcile ledgers and reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Generate exception notices for unposted or erroneous transactions.
• Input and correct CA/SA deposits in posting systems and ledgers.
• Encode daily transactions into GL EGL and related backup systems.
• Coordinate with units to resolve discrepancies and floating items.
