Job summary

Avaloq is hiring for a senior backend engineer to design and implement high-performance backend solutions in the Avaloq/Oracle stack in a hybrid setup in the Philippines. You will deliver end-to-end execution from specification to production and optimize complex accounting modules.

The role requires hands-on PL/SQL, Oracle DB, and backend engineering experience with ownership mindset and delivery reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL, Oracle DB, and backend engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance backend solutions in Avaloq / Oracle stack.
• Deliver end-to-end execution from specification to production.
• Build scalable, reusable components across accounting modules.
• Optimize SQL / PL-SQL performance and system integration.
• Ensure correct implementation across layers (Kernel / Baseline / Client).
• Proactively resolve defects with focus on root-cause elimination.
• Drive automation, testability, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with BAs to ensure smooth translation from requirement to execution.
