Job summary

Avaloq in Manila is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and implement high-performance backend solutions in the Avaloq/Oracle stack. You will deliver end-to-end execution from specification to production, building scalable components across accounting modules and ensuring correct implementation across Kernel, Baseline, and Client layers.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL, Oracle DB, and backend engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Avaloq Script or similar core banking platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver in SLA-driven, production-critical environments.
• Strong capability in performance tuning and system integration.
• Ability to work across complex financial/accounting logic.
• Ownership mindset with focus on delivery reliability and maintainability.
