Job summary

Avaloq Philippines Inc. seeks a seasoned Cloud Database Delivery Engineer to build and deliver Oracle database environments on OCI, using IaC and Avaloq EM.

You will provision end-to-end databases across development, testing and production, ensure backups, high availability, and seamless handover to Run teams. The role requires strong Linux/Unix database expertise, Terraform/Ansible/Git automation, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
• Strong experience installing and configuring Oracle databases on Linux/Unix.
• Experience with RMAN and Data Guard for backup and high availability.
• Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, Git for IaC and automation.
• Scripting in Shell or Python for automation and operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver Oracle database environments on OCI.
• Implement database infrastructure using IaC (Terraform) and Avaloq EM.
• Provision, configure, and set up across dev, test, and prod.
• Configure storage, integration with platform components, and automation.
• Deliver production-ready databases for handover to Run/Operations.
• Install, configure, and deploy Oracle databases on Linux/Unix.
• Configure backup, recovery (RMAN) and Data Guard HA.
• Execute upgrades, migrations, and data transformations.
• Validate and handover environments; support go-live and stabilization.
