Job summary

Boomering inc is seeking an experienced Senior AU Tax Accountant to join our Melbourne-based client in a permanent, work-from-home role. The ideal candidate will manage multiple Australian clients, ensure tax compliance, and deliver high-quality accounting work with strong knowledge of Australian taxation.

You will work with leading cloud-based accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Dext, FYI Docs, Supermate) and contribute to diverse taxation matters, including BAS/IAS, income tax, GST,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Australian taxation.
• At least 5 years of experience as a tax compliance accountant for an Australian accounting firm.
• Experience managing multiple clients.
• Experience with software: Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Dext, FYI Docs and Supermate; How Now is a MUST.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BAS/IAS returns.
• Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets and depreciation schedules for business clients.
• Prepare and lodge Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts and Partnerships.
• Review client accounting records in MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, etc., to provide accurate and timely management reports.
• Complete superannuation data entry and prepare financial statements and tax returns for audit.
• Prepare FBT returns, if capable.
• Provide assistance in relation to a range of taxation matters, including FBT, CGT, income tax and GST.
