Job summary

Cloudstaff is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant AU to join a virtual team or permanent remote placement. You will handle tax returns, statements, and client liaison across SME's, trusts, partnerships, and companies with a focus on Australian tax rules.

You’ll work from home with a morning shift, benefit from a one-month salary sign-on bonus, and join a collaborative environment that supports career growth and international opportunities.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree with accounting major.
• CA/CPA in progress or completed.
• 7+ years in accounting & taxation, Australia-focused.
• Solid knowledge of GST, FBT, CGT and Division 7A.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns, activity statements, and lodgements for entities.
• Prepare work papers and reconcile to financial statements.
• Prepare financial statements for companies, partnerships and trusts.
• Assist with tax planning and payroll tax and STP tasks.
• Manage documentation and client files per compliance standards.
