Boomering is seeking an Australian Accountant to support Australian taxation and SMSF work from a home-based setup. The role is part-time (3 days a week, 8 hours/day) with hours 7:00 AM–4:00 PM PHT, and holidays aligned with VIC, Australia.

Full-time candidates may apply if suitable. You will handle 75–80% Australian Tax and 20–25% SMSF across 13–20 funds, maintain records in Xero and BGL, and collaborate with an Australian team on accurate, timely financials while learning and growing in a

• Practical experience in Australian accounting and taxation.
• Experience preparing individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns.
• Experience in SMSF accounting.
• Experience using Xero and BGL.
• Ability to prepare accurate financial statements and supporting workpapers.
• Strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confidence communicating directly with Australian clients.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
• Strong ownership, accountability and time management.
• Willingness to learn quickly, accept feedback and apply it consistently.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare Australian tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare financial statements and tax workpapers.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and reports using Xero.
• Prepare SMSF financial statements and annual returns.
• Support SMSF audit preparation and respond to queries.
• Maintain organized documentation per client processes.
• Collaborate with the Australian team.
