Job summary

Zillow Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Atlassian Platform Administrator to manage and evolve our Jira, Confluence, Loom, and related Atlassian Cloud tools. You will design complex configurations, lead incident response, and partner with IAM teams to implement SSO, SCIM, and governance across the platform.

The role emphasizes automation, scalable patterns, and secure administration, with opportunities to mentor others and deliver reliable platform services across a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SaaS administration or enterprise IT operations experience, with Atlassian admin focus.
• Proven Jira/Confluence admin experience in an enterprise Cloud environment.
• Experience designing complex Jira configurations: workflows, permissions, fields, automations, dashboards, reports.
• Experience managing licensing, governance, and user management across Atlassian products.
• Strong identity and access management knowledge: SSO, SAML, SCIM, provisioning.
• Ability to automate with APIs, JSON, Python/JavaScript or low‑code tools.
• Clear technical writing and runbook/documentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize independently and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and evolve Jira, Confluence, Loom, and related Atlasian cloud products.
• Design and maintain complex projects, workflows, screens, and permissions.
• Lead discovery and design of configurations, ensuring security and maintainability.
• Manage incidents and escalations across Atlassian configurations and integrations.
• Collaborate on IAM topics like SSO, SCIM, and license management.
• Develop automations and tooling to reduce manual work and improve support quality.
