We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Operations team as a Senior Associate, Corporate Actions. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of corporate action events, ensuring accurate processing, timely execution, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring corporate action events, managing elections for voluntary events, reconciling positions, and ensuring accurate entitlement processing while maintaining strong operational controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Actions Processing
- Manage the end-to-end processing of Mandatory, Mandatory with Options, and Voluntary Corporate Action events.
- Capture and maintain corporate action events within internal operating systems.
- Monitor global positions and identify eligible holdings for announced corporate actions.
- Review event announcements, deadlines, forecasts, and payment schedules to ensure timely processing.
- Ensure accurate booking of entitlements and event outcomes in relevant systems.
Election Management
- Coordinate and manage voluntary corporate action elections.
- Consolidate and submit client instructions within established market deadlines.
- Liaise with custodians, agents, and internal teams to ensure proper execution and confirmation of elections.
- Monitor election responses and resolve exceptions as needed.
- Perform daily reconciliation of positions, entitlements, and event proceeds.
- Investigate and resolve breaks, discrepancies, and unmatched transactions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 related Years of Experience in Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, Asset Servicing, Capital Markets Operations, or Investment Banking Operations.
- Knowledge of Mandatory, Voluntary, and Mandatory with Options corporate action events.
- Understanding of securities processing, settlements, reconciliations, and market operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational processing systems.
Preferred Experience
- Background in Investment Banking Operations, Custody Services, Asset Servicing, or Securities Operations.
- Experience handling global market corporate action events.
- Familiarity with front-to-back trade lifecycle processes and operational controls.
