Job summary

About the role

Senior Associate position in Corporate Actions processing. The role involves monitoring corporate actions across all reliefs, identifying eligible global positions, managing the election process for voluntary events, and ensuring efficient management of scrubbing, notifications, and bookings in general books and recording systems.

Key responsibilities

• Event Capture, Notification, Income/Mandatory events processing, Election management (Voluntary), Bookings of Outcomes, Claims Management, and Reconciliations
• Scrubbing and set up of Corporate Actions in operating systems (e.g. Picasso)
• Monitoring of Corporate Actions in all reliefs and identification of eligible global positions (Settled/Pending trades, SLAB)
• Follow-up of events' announcements, forecast and deadlines leading to efficient management regarding scrubbing, notifications, and bookings in general books and recording systems (e.g. Calypso, Power, Picasso tools)
• Manage the election process for voluntary events in close relations with other teams of the GM CAIT department, compile aggregated instruction to be sent to agents/custodians and ensure good receipt
• Ability to manage any Corporate Actions type on the overall scope of the team
• Provide regular reports to hierarchy and be pro-active during all recurrent meetings (morning, weekly meetings, etc.)
• Monitor and take appropriate actions in case of market risks (buy ins)
• Maintain good working relationships with domestic agents and custodians
• Communicate with and assist other operational departments where needed

About you

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years' experience in Corporate Actions (APAC Shift)
• Capacity to analyze, organize and report efficiently
