Job summary

Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. (IMI Global) in Laguna Biñan is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve power semiconductor assembly processes. You will analyze yields, drive process capability, and collaborate across Production, Quality, and Equipment teams.

The role requires 1–3 years in power module manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and experience with SPC/DOE/FMEA/8D. Proficiency in Excel, with Minitab preferred, is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in power semiconductor module, semiconductor assembly, or OSAT manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, with ability to interpret data.
• Proficient in Excel; Minitab or similar tools advantageous.
• Experience with power module/semiconductor assembly processes such as wafer dicing, die attach/sintering, wire bonding, mold encapsulation, singulation, vacuum reflow, laser marking, plating, and reliability testing.
• Familiarity with automotive quality requirements is advantageous.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing yield, quality, capability, cycle time, and productivity.
• Lead process troubleshooting, defect analysis, and root-cause investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Develop and optimize assembly processes using DOE, SPC, and capability studies; data-driven analysis.
• Support NPI activities: process qualification, validation, transfer, and ramp‑up.
• Drive CAPA and continuous improvement to reduce defects, variation, scrap, and losses.
• Maintain process parameters, control plans, reports, work instructions, and specs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Equipment, and Product Engineering to resolve issues and stabilize processes.
• Support risk assessment and process improvement using FMEA, 8D, and statistical tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, characterize, and optimize assembly processes using Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), process capability studies, and data-driven analysis.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process qualification, validation, product/process transfer, and production ramp-up.
• Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, process variation, scrap, and manufacturing losses.
• Develop and maintain process parameters, control plans, technical reports, work instructions, specifications, and other process documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Equipment, Product Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure stable production processes.
• Support risk assessment and process improvement activities using tools such as FMEA, 8D, and statistical analysis.
