Job summary

AEX Architects Exchange in Davao City is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural projects of significant scale, mentor junior staff, and drive design excellence in a full-time office position.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and teams to deliver innovative architectural solutions while ensuring compliance with local standards and project requirements. A strong background in BIM and coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• PRC licensure as Architect.
• 10+ years of professional architectural experience with UAE/GCC experience in consultancy, contracting, or interior fit-out projects (preferred).
• Experience with Engineering Consultant or Contracting companies.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, Civil Defense, and other relevant local authority codes and standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Architecture & Engineering from concept design to site execution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM Revit (preferred), SketchUp, and other BIM platforms and architectural design development Strong experience in IFC detailed shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Deep understanding of BIM Standard from LOD100-LOD600 and construction drawings.
• Proficient in Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360), Navisworks, and AEC collaboration tools.

About the role

This is a full-time office position that offers a unique opportunity to lead architectural projects of significant scale and complexity whilst mentoring junior team members. As Senior Architect, you will hold a strategic position within our practice, driving design excellence and ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of architectural integrity, functionality, and innovation. This role will see you working collaboratively with clients, consultants, and various teams to deliver outstanding architectural solutions.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
2. Professional registration or licensure as an Architect (PRC Licensed Architect or equivalent qualification)
3. Minimum 10+ years of professional architectural experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership capacity with UAE/GCC experience in consultancy, contracting, or interior fit-out projects (preferred).
4. Experience with Engineering Consultant or Contracting companies.
