Job summary

Side is seeking an experienced Software QA Tester to ensure high-quality, reliable software. You will design and develop test features, applying strong testing practices and your development experience to guarantee performance, stability, and scalability across web and mobile platforms.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, code quality improvements, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. It is a project-based engagement for 6 months, onsite at Makati City with potential extension

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manual and API testing.
• Strong focus on API and backend testing.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, JSON/XML handling.
• Experience with Postman and command-line API execution.
• Experience with version control and issue tracking (Git/Bitbucket, Jira).

Responsibilities

• Perform unit testing in BFF layer and validate components.
• Conduct API testing including functional and error scenarios.
• Test via RESTful APIs, request/response validation, JSON/XML parsing.
• Use CI/CD tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure) for testing workflows.
• Design test strategies for Backend-for-Frontend and integrated services.
