Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manual and API testing with a strong focus on API and backend testing.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, request/response validation, and JSON/XML parsing.
• Experience with Command Line API Execution and Postman.
• Version control (Git, Bitbucket) and issue tracking tools (Jira).
• PHP source code understanding (debugging, code review).
• Experience drafting test cases and test reports.
• Strong defect reporting workflow and ticket operations design.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Willing to work on-site at the office (Makati City).
• Available for 8-hour weekday shifts (daytime).

Responsibilities

• Perform unit testing within the BFF layer to validate components and service logic.
• Conduct API testing (functional and error scenarios), RESTful APIs, request/response validation, and JSON/XML parsing.
• Adept in Command-line and SQL/backend testing.
• Conduct version control using CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure.
• Design comprehensive test strategies for Backend for Frontend, and integrated services.
• Create and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Manage defect lifecycle, including bug tracking, prioritization, and ticket operation design in systems like Jira.
• Provide continuous feedback to development teams to enhance test coverage and product stability.
