Job summary

JobCubby is seeking an experienced Software QA Tester with a background in basic programming who is committed to excellence and enjoys collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software. You’ll design and develop features while applying strong testing practices to ensure performance, stability, and scalability across web and mobile platforms.

This is an onsite, project-based role in Makati City.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manual and API testing.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON/XML parsing.
• Experience with version control and issue tracking tools like Git and Jira.
• PHP source code understanding (debugging, code review).

Responsibilities

• Perform unit testing within the BFF layer to validate components and service logic.
• Conduct API testing (functional and error scenarios), RESTful APIs, request/response validation, and JSON/XML parsing.
• Adept in Command-line and SQL/backend testing.
• Conduct version control using CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure.
• Design comprehensive test strategies for Backend for Frontend, and integrated services.
• Create and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Manage defect lifecycle, including bug tracking, prioritization, and ticket operation design in systems like Jira.
• Provide continuous feedback to development teams to enhance test coverage and product stability.
