Job summary

G-P is seeking a senior Employment Counsel for APAC to provide strategic legal guidance on complex employment matters across the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Employment Counsel APAC Director, you will oversee regional regulatory compliance and workforce management with a proactive, results-driven approach.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of employment law experience, including at least 2 years in-house, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined employment law experience.
• 2+ years in-house legal experience.
• Excellent judgment balancing legal risk with commercial needs.
• English proficiency; additional APAC language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal oversight on employment matters across APAC.
• Manage employment disputes and coordinate with in-house and outside counsel.
• Partner with Global Operations and People team on regional employee relations matters.
• Develop scalable, compliant contracts and regional handbook templates.
• Deliver in-house training for business units and operations.
